Howdy all, this has been an interesting week, for me, in derby and online. I expected my posts on skater names and league names to be a bit controversial. However my post on foot pain went a lil viral. Not like hundreds of thousands of views, but a couple of hundred in North America, Europe and Australia/New Zealand. I can’t figure out how to link the summary but it was pretty cool to see. Especially all the feed back I was getting on Facebook, reddit and on here. Tumblr unfortunately isn’t as diverse, only allowing friends who like my blog in the first place to like a post and reblog so their friends can possibly like it as well.

Sure the point of my blog, or almost any blog for that matter is partially for vanity. But I really want others to have a different point of view that what is sometimes just recycled skater stuff. which by the way, while doing some research I found out that I wasn’t the only one who had an epiphany about skater names. I do however seem to hold the distinction in calling out league names.

In any case, I posted more this past week than I had intended, which is a two a week schedule that I feel like I can seriously commit to. If I get really inspired I’ll post more, but for the most part don’t get too used to it. I’m not that brilliant, or opinionated, but I do have a generally different worldview and thus perspective on derby.

If you do end up liking, literally laughing out loud (or even just chuckling out loud), or feel like someone should could possibly enjoy or benefit from a post PLEASE share. It’s interesting to see how “far” a post can reach.

Until next week, Fraternally,
