man named Monday

Yellow Rose Roller Derby had the largest turn out to their meet and greet Monday night! One of the most exciting things was the mix of attendees. From retired HRD skaters, rec league skaters, former skaters, never skated before and used-to-artist-skate. plus a few potential refs, or unknowing derby widows supporting their spouses.

Unfortunately Rosie and Tex couldn’t chat with everyone to get to know each other a little better. However, I think Tex might have something up her sleeve to remedy that.

With derby season kicking off already, I’m looking forward to what 2013 has to offer. Both within the league and general derby world events.
